09/18/09 - Work Day

Tom KC9GIE, Greg K9CFH, and Steve KA9SZW started the day at the Bement UHF repeater site to install the new Icom Digital Repeater in place of the old Yaesu. We were prepared to build a shelf and found this nice aluminum unit on the floor that was the perfect fit!

Somewhere up there is our antenna. We couldn't decide which one it was.

It is now possible to walk all the way around with ease. We moved both antennas to the east side of the structure as cables are now too short to get on the west side. This is actually a more open location.

I stayed up top long enough to get some pictures.

The new and improved antenna site. The 2m digi antenna was replaced and the 440 antenna is now straight and in the clear.
