5/03/08 - Prairie Fire Games Special Event

It was cold and windy for W9XH and AA9UF during the Boy Scout special event. Boy Scout troops moved through the ham radio shelters all day to hear a presentation on ham radio and then make attempts to work another station. Several contacts were logged and many certificates handed out to the scouts. At least one scout was interested enough to come back later to make another contact.
